🔍 What Can Be Tested?
Buccal swab: Optional reference sample for future comparison
Personal items: Undergarments, bedding, or other items of interest
Test Options:
Standard DNA Detection
- Detects any DNA (male and/or female)
- Determines if enough usable DNA is present for future comparison
- Does not compare DNA to a reference sample
Y Chromosome (Male DNA) Detection
- Detects male DNA only
- Useful if you are only looking for male biological material
- Cannot distinguish between male relatives on the same paternal line
- Does not compare DNA to a reference sample
Important Submission Guidelines:
- Send personal items in a paper bag—plastic may cause mold growth, degrading DNA
- Mark the specific area on the item to be tested
- Items may be cut or altered during testing and will not be returned in their original condition
