Description
The responsibilities of long-term care administrators vary but generally include overseeing the physical, emotional, and mental condition of residents or patients entrusted to their care. Their responsibilities do not, of course, end with resident care, but also include a wide range of other activities including the financial well-being of the facility, the safety and security of the physical plant as well as the occupants of the facility, whether they are staff, residents or visitors. Beyond this, however, with some training and good old-fashioned common sense, administrators can easily become conservation professionals in addition to healthcare professionals.
