Description
This comprehensive American Red Cross blended learning course includes Adult First Aid, CPR/AED, Bloodborne Pathogens training, and emergency response for anaphylaxis, including the use of epinephrine auto-injectors (EpiPens). It’s designed for individuals who want to be thoroughly prepared for a wide range of medical emergencies in both workplace and personal settings.
🧾 Certification:
Upon successful completion of both the online and in-person components, participants will receive a 2-year Red Cross Course Completion Card.
📘 Part 1: Online Course
Participants will receive access to the official Red Cross online training, which covers:
- First Aid response
- Adult CPR & AED usage
- Bloodborne pathogens
- Recognizing and responding to anaphylaxis
- Proper use of an epinephrine auto-injector
Complete the training at your own pace. Once finished, download and print your certificate of completion and bring it to the skills session.
✋ Part 2: Hands-On Skills Session
After completing the online portion, schedule your in-person skills session with a certified instructor.
During the session, you will demonstrate:
- High-quality Adult CPR
- Proper AED usage
- First Aid response techniques
- Bloodborne pathogen safety protocols
- Administering an epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen) during anaphylactic emergencies
⏱️ Session Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on group size and experience level. Certification is awarded upon successful demonstration of all skills.
