Description
Biological and chemical warfare–also known as germ warfare–is the use of biological toxins or infectious agents such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi with the intent to kill or incapacitate humans, animals, or plants as an act of war. Upon completion of this program, participants will know and understand the history of biological and chemical warfare, identify different biological and chemical agents, understand the most common biological agents, recognize the signs and symptoms of exposure and establish procedures to diagnose, treat, isolate, and decontaminate.
