Sibling DNA Test

Clarify Family Connections with Confidence

There are two types of sibling relationships:

  • Full Siblings share both biological parents
  • Half Siblings share only one biological parent

Our Siblingship DNA Test determines the likelihood of a biological relationship between two individuals when a direct parent is unavailable for testing. This test is often used when other relatives cannot be included and provides helpful insight into family structure.

🔍 Note: When possible, a Grandparentage or DNA Reconstruction Test is more conclusive, especially if the mother is not available for testing.

Testing Scenarios:

Full Siblingship with a Common Parent

Two individuals who share the same mother want to determine if they also share the same father (who is not available for testing).

Full Siblingship without a Parent

A full siblingship test can still be performed without the mother’s DNA, although her participation helps improve accuracy.

Half Siblingship with Both Mothers Participating

Two individuals with different mothers want to confirm if they share the same father. Both mothers are available for testing.

Half Siblingship without Parents

Even if one or both mothers are unavailable, a half siblingship test can still be conducted. While the results may be less definitive, they still offer valuable insight. Mother involvement is always encouraged for stronger conclusions.
